Introducing The Blackout the Stigma Supporters Shirt
Wear the message. Start the conversation. Support mental health with our Blackout the Stigma supporters shirt.
Following the launch of our Blackout the Stigma campaign with rugby mental health charity LooseHeadz, the response from players, members and supporters has been immense. What began as an initiative aligned with World Suicide Prevention Day has quickly grown into something bigger. It is a club wide message that mental health matters and that rugby can help lead the conversation in the right direction.
One thing we heard loud and clear was simple. Supporters wanted a version of the shirt they could wear on the touchline, in the clubhouse and out in the community. So by popular demand, we are releasing an official Blackout the Stigma Supporters Shirt.
This supporters edition is designed for comfort and everyday wear while keeping the identity and meaning of the campaign front and centre.
- The shirt has a loose supporters fit which is more relaxed than the pro fit match shirt worn by the First XV.
- It features an old school rugby collar which gives the shirt a classic heritage feel.
- Instead of a squad number, the back proudly features Petersfield RFC and LooseHeadz branding as a visible symbol of the campaign’s purpose.
- This shirt exists to carry the message beyond Penns Place into workplaces, schools, pubs, away days and wherever our community goes.
This release is pre order only, meaning shirts are made to order once the window closes - dependent on the demand, the club may consider stocking a small amount in the club shop.
Pre order closes on Friday 27 February 2026.
Once the window closes, the club will place the full order.
Delivery will be approximately four weeks after the order is placed.
Once they have arrived, shirts can be collected from the clubhouse.

This is more than just a shirt release. It is a fundraising initiative that supports the incredible work LooseHeadz do to tackle the stigma around mental health in rugby communities.
Supporters shirts are priced at £49.99 for adults and £39.99 for juniors.
Fifty percent of the profit from every shirt sold will go directly to LooseHeadz. We hope this release raises valuable funds for a truly brilliant charity making a real difference through the power of rugby.
This supporters shirt is a chance to wear something that stands for more than rugby. It stands for looking out for each other, checking in and helping make conversations easier across our club and beyond.
