Petersfield RFC is proud to announce that it will host Rugby Against Cancer’s first ever rugby camp on Thursday 19 February.
Rugby Against Cancer is not only a powerful and much-loved charity. Its sevens programme has risen rapidly across the elite sevens circuit, picking up honours at Bournemouth 7s and Edinburgh 7s, along with other strong finishes. Their social men’s team has also won back to back at the past two Petersfield Pub 7s. This success has significantly increased the charity’s profile and helped shine a brighter light on the support they provide to people and families affected by cancer.
The camp will be led by Tom Bowen, former Team GB Olympian and England 7s star, alongside other elite sevens players, sports teachers and semi professional players. It promises a full day of high quality coaching, skill development and genuine rugby insight for our young players.
The camp is open to boys and girls from Under 13 to Under 16, and numbers are strictly limited to 40 places, so early booking is strongly encouraged.
