When we built the new changing rooms, PRFC successfully raised almost £6,000 from members and supporters buying bricks. As we look to improve the clubhouse and its facilities for its members, we are relaunching this campaign. We are planning to install a new kitchen over the summer and would like to put down a new floor upstairs in the clubhouse. Given the club's financial position (close to £100,000 in debt) these projects are going to have to be self financing - hence the buy a brick relaunch.
The wall is on the right as you enter the clubhouse (see attached photo).
We encourage members and friends to donate a brick for the wall. The brick can be in the name of anyone you choose but you are limited to 30 characters.
For personal donations, we are going to use the justgiving site for the campaign, as all the giftaid paperwork is taken care of by this organisation and we can reclaim tax as we are a charity. There is a link on the website.
We suggest a donation of £50 per brick. Please e-mail the PRFC (Robert.Mocatta@btinternet.com) if you are interested with the name you want on your brick.
We will also accept corporate donations, and we will produce an invoice of £60 including VAT for any business that wants to purchase a brick. We cannot reclaim tax on corporate donations.
