A message to Petersfield RFC's new Womens Team From RFU President Deborah Griffin
What better person to tell you that women’s training is every Tuesday and Sunday than the RFU President herself, Deborah Griffin!
Deborah became the first female President in the RFU’s 154-year history back in August, but her credentials in the women’s game go even further. A founding member of the Women’s Rugby Football Union in 1983, she organised the first ever Women’s Rugby World Cup in 1991 and was the first woman elected to the RFU Council, Board, and now the Presidency.
Training is every Tuesday from 7pm and Sunday from 1:30pm - come down and be part of this new chapter in women’s rugby!
